Very nice center tools. Use this on my cnc router and manually drill to start my holes so the center is exactly where i want my drill bits to be and not walk all over the place.

The 7 pack of center drills come loose in a plastic bag, so they hit against one another in shipping. Some of the edges have little imperfections possibly because of this. They range in size from 1.0 to 5.0 and all are laser etched size except the 2 and the 3. I drilled into some mild steel and they didn;t have any problem. I'll update this review when I cut something harder. For the price, these are a good value for the hobby machinst, especially if you aren't running a production shop.

These didn't look promising when they arrived. But for barely more than a buck apiece I'm going to cut them some slack. Especially since they do work.So far I've tried the biggest bit and the smallest bit. The initial cutting zone wasn't incredibly impressive but did seem to work. They each made a little "divot" without too much and I do think it wandered at least SOMEWHAT less than just a twist bit would have. (More wandering on the bigger than the smaller.)The actual hole/countersink portion worked pretty well. (More chattering on the smaller than the bigger.) So while I don't know that a professional machinist would be happy with this set, for my own garage hobbies it's nice to have a "starter set" of center drills that do work passably afaict.

These might have been sharp when they came off the grinder, but since they were all just tossed in a bag together and left to bang around they arrived quite abused and uselessly dull... but for the price of $1.15 each I'm willing to sharpen them and call it a win.Other than being as sharp as a butter knife without teeth, all but one of the bits are of usable quality. My 1.5mm bit was badly cut and the center point is at about 80/20 instead of 50/50 (same on both ends) and might not be worth trying to fix - it looks like the bit rotated during sharpening.

This set is a decent value at under 8$. The center drills are a little on the raw side but the work for the stated purpose without issue. The wide range of sizes is appreciated. These come packaged in a bag with no protection/case so results may vary as to the sharpness of them.

Nice counter sink bits. Of course, they have more functions than just that, they are also very helpful to get centered. They cut well and seem well made. They do not come in any kind of storage container, just a plastic bag. So you may consider making something to store these inside to keep them where you can find them when needed. They are helpful with a lathe or milling machine. If you have either of those, you already know and likely have a set. But these can even be used in a drill press and be quite handy.
