These are NOT sanding pads! You will be attaching sand paper to them. That being said, they are a great variety of shapes to get into any nook and cranny. Very well made and solid for durability. Multiple sizes for anything you need to sand...very handy for tight spots.

This is a super useful and cost effective pack of sanding blocks. These work best with PSA type paper, but you can wrap just about anything around them. Foam is industry standard, no flaws or even indentations.

Ok, so I'm a bit torn on this set.I am rating this based on woodworking and not autobody use.So this set right out of the box gives a nice variety of sizes and shapes to work with.I ordered this set for the purpose of sanding different woodworking projects and different shapes sizes is always a positive.Now, out of the box in my opinion they are useless for sanding.WHY? Because on their own the surface isn't even acceptable for a fine sand down in between coats etc.They simply have no grit to them to be useful.So, if your idea is to buy this set and use them as is for sanding on their own you will be disappointed.HOWEVER, Because these are Eva foam they give a woodworker lots of potential if you want to improve them.I posted a picture that shows I added adhesive backed hook padding to one of the blocks which then makes it just like any sanding block that you can attach any grit sandpaper you want.With that in mind, along with the fact that you can cut these into any shape you can think of.....makes these a great addition for someone looking for very specific but shapes that aren't easily available.Take one of the blocks, cut it to the shape of your liking, add some hook padding and then the sandpaper of your choosing.Do that and I could see this being a great purchase for some.But bought as is....they lack the necessary resources needed to make them useful.So, now how I use them I would give them 5 stars....but bought out of the box it simply needs more and is 3 stars.

These came in packaged in a cardboard box. High quality, each block was defect free and has a soft yet dense feel too them. Mainly using these during wet sanding, the block hold up just fine without distorting or collapsing on itself.I normally buy dura blocks at my local shop and I honestly wont be doing that anymore, the quality, feel and shape are exactly the same at a fraction of the cost.
