Came chipped - these are inexpensive lacquered unknown wood large spoons.We got them for our kids as the metal utensils and teeth tend to be a bad pairing.However... these are pretty basic. nothing pro or con about them other than they seem to wear easily and chip readily.

These spoons are really nice! These would be good for eating with, but they can also be used for games like balancing an egg or Christmas ornament while walking. The color is gorgeous and shiny. The are light, but feel sturdy. Highly recommend.

Nice looking spoons, particularly with that deep rich brown color.Feels like acacia wood, very lightweight.Definitely sealed.While it would probably be okay with "liquids" and wet stuff, I would still err with using it in dry items.Overall, these are well made spoons!
