Seems well constructed. Can’t use unfortunately because evidently it did not register in my mind that 57mm wide is really large. Haha. Anyway. Very high quality and heavy duty.

If you are looking for rugged and well made, this drag chain is fantastic. It is super strong, doesn't flex appreciably either side mounted and supported from the end or when flat mounted from the end. It has a lot of internal cable capacity and is sized perfectly for mounting on 2040 aluminum extrusion. About the only bad thing I have to say about it is that it is quite heavy! Even so, it should do quite nicely for a side mounted hotbed cable assembly on a bed slinger or for a mobile Z bed mount cable assembly on a CoreXY printer. It also would work well for router head assembly cables on a CNC, but would way too heavy for any high speed 3D printer head I can envision.All in all though, this is one heck of a nice drag chain!

The first thing I noticed when taking out the drag chain for the first time is that it does not lay down flat. There is a slight curve to it. The loops do not contain removable covers to ease getting wiring inside of it. You have to fish it all the way through which can be tricky if running the full length. As with other drag chains you can snap the links off to resize it. The quality of the links and movement between each one is nice and smooth. That is the one thing that keeps it from being a single star item.

Have slowly been upgrading our 3D printers, and one of the best upgrades is one of these cable chains.We have printed some in the past, but find that they can be a bit finicky, and pop in places from time to time.This injection molded chain provides smooth, worry free operation with no catches or anything popping loose.Installation was easy, just fix in place at either end, run your cables, and you're off!Great quality, especially for the price! I'd gladly pay $10 for the whole chain instead of printing more

This one's another lesson in PAY ATTENTION TO THE MEASUREMENTS. I imagined this was just a basic little drag chain like the ones on my 3D printer and hobby CNC machines. But no…… the one I'm reviewing here is indeed a full inch tall and two inches wide (approximately) like it says 😅Seems to be of good quality. I don't notice really any sag to speak of just holding it from one end supporting its own weight down the whole chain. Motion is smooth too. So this seems like a great chain, just make sure to pick one closer to a reasonable size for your own application(s).

Exactly what I needed for my printer build project. The chain is well made and moves freely. It's easy to adjust the length by removing the links you don't need. The links also open up easily to insert or adjust wires as needed. Simple design but very functional.
