Maybe I'm being too critical of the sprayer but it is tough to get everything clean once used. To get started, filling the container was easy and since it comes with a screen strainer, you will avoid chunks. Deciding which nozzle to use is spelled out in the instruction manual but you may do some trial and error and find you can use one or the other for similar jobs. If you are used to using a brush or roller, you have to definitely be prepared for a learning curve. The speed at which you paint will vary depending on what it is but don't hover too long in one area or you will get too much paint there very quickly. Once you test it out a few times, I recommend on a box or something, you will determine the best approach and since it's just paint, you can always sand it a bit and do it again... Certainly not my favorite way of doing things but, you can't permanently ruin anything with it.Certainly a worthwhile tool for your home projects and fixer uppers.

I see products like this get terrible reviews because the reviewer compares it to something top of the line or pro-grade. This is not a pro-grade piece of equipment. It's not contractor grade. It's "use it once or twice here and there for a project here and there every so often by a homeowner" grade. And in that context, it fits the bill well and is appropriately priced. It's decently balanced depending on the weight of the paint. It has a bit of a forward bias but it's not hard to manage. The manual recommends you practice with water. I can't agree more. Practice a lot. It puts out a lot more paint than you might expect it to. It takes a bit of practice to get used to the spray patterns though. Cleanup is a pain but to be expected. Over all, it's built well. I'm not sure it would survive a few drops from a ladder but should last for a while in normal use.

I had an issue with this sprayer spraying wide enough and evenly. It seems like the exterior paint that I used is too thick for this system. I love the idea of how easy this machine is to use, but it's actually a lot faster to just pull out a brush and hand paint what you're needing to. I'm thinking about watering down the paint the next time I do use this sprayer. Clean up is easy as all the pieces come apart, but messy

So two weeks prior to picking this up we had purchased another $60 one and this one was SO much better. We're a big fan.The biggest challenge is mixing so that there is enough paint vs. water. Luckily I had a painting pro to do that for me but there's instructions along with the unit to do that and I'd definitely research.The painting pattern was incredibly good. There are 4 nozzles AND the end turns to get verticle, horizontal, or CIRCLE pattern which is what we used.The only con I'd say is you have to refill quite often. We were able to do a closet with 3 containers of paint. (white container that comes with unit)Safety: Get some painting mask going because I used a classic face mask and got a big mouthful of paint. Also make sure you use safety glasses because in an enclosed area, you get a CLOUD of paint. They also recommend ear plugs because the machine is quite loud.Very recommend but there are a few more popular units for cheaper.
