Says that there is 70 of each color. When we got ours we got only 10 light blue and 23 dark blue and then double the amount of purple. My son got there to build numberblocks with stickers we bought from Etsy so it was essential we got the right amount of colors.

These small snap together building cubes are not for small children as they can be a choking hazard. However, for older children they are a great gift idea. They are durable, brightly colored and with over 700 pieces, building possibilities are endless. Comes with a sturdy storage container. Good value.

I ordered this set of leaning blocks for my 16 month old toddler to use when she gets a little older. In the meantime, my 3 and 5 year old niece and nephew play with them often.! As a former early childhood educator, I used counting blocks for the many opportunities fthey provide for learning in all areas- reading, writing, math, even science, and social studies. They also encourage creativity, help to develop hand eye coordination and small motor skills, and can motivate a child for less screen time. Doing a quick web search for how these types of blocks are beneficial for children, yields an extensive amount of information going beyond what could possibly be provided in the included product pamphlet. The included pamphlet shows example shapes and objects that have been built with the blocks. The blocks are sturdy enough for countless hours of use by multiple children across ages. They are easy to snap together and separate, and the colors are bright. The blocks are contained in a plastic storage bin with an easy snap on and off lid and convenient handle on top. For their functionality, versatility, and that they will last for years and years, this set of blocks is a very good value.
