How? How? 2 uses and the up breaks? How? Do u know how big of a pain in the butt that thing is to instal & now I have to do it again! Piss off

The action of this switch is tactile and fast. However, the UP action has a bit more resistance than the DN action, and so provides a less consistent experience.

Switch came apart third trip out but pretty simple to repair.

I have an older sterndrive powerboat with a side remote control. This one says it’s for outboards, but looks just like the one installed for tilt and trim control in the main accerator/gear shift arm so thought I’d give it a try. I got the 3 color coded wires I need to hook up to the old wiring, and experimented a little until I got it working right.Works for me!
