I ordered these a few years ago and decided to re-order them. The paper is NOT white. It’s a shimmery grey. I was planning on having the children I work with paint them, but honestly, I’m not sure paint would work on these. I unfortunately will need to return, as they aren’t what I was expecting. The description is not accurate.

We used these with clear velcro dots to put the name of each deceased member of our family. We purchased a beautiful cloud back drop from Amazon also and velcroed the butterflies on the back drop one by one as the person's name was called. It was a beautiful portion of our family reunion.
