This product exactly matches the original shackle found on my 88 Ford Ranger XLT, this product is extremely durable, heavy and not likely to bend or crack. Bolts are grade 10.9 and are made of carbon steel and have locking flange nuts that attach to them for added stability. The original bracket on my truck is riveted into place with rivets that don't like to come off easily, a cutting wheel or blow torch is required to get them off, unless the original bracket is rusted or damaged you may opt to replace just the shackle and bushings. This kit does not contain bushings that go on the opposite side of the leaf springs.

They work great, Solid built and installs the same as any of them which can be a little tricky with some dangers involved. The hardest part is removing old ones which have to be drilled out. It is much easier to do if you completely remove the rear axle housing, They fit on right and work great and no more 'clunks' when driving. And less than half the price as factory ones.
