I purchased this for a 2008 Mercedes Benz E350 and the sensors work great. The punch tool however is not needed for most models. They were originally installed with a plastic cover but are now installed under an epoxy. I would strongly recommend drilling a hole on the top of the cover and punching them out the bottom after heating the epoxy. You will do less damage to the conductor ground plate. You can easily use JB Weld to cover the hole.
