As the driver accelerates the vehicle, important information is transmitted from the MTE-THOMSON throttle position sensor (TPS) to the electronic injection computer. Located on the throttle body or the accelerator pedal, the TPS sends an electric signal that is essential for the computer to define how much fuel to inject. Acceleration failure, high fuel consumption, and low engine performance are some of the common problems associated with a defective TPS. The throttle position sensor was a direct replacement on my Holley Sniper EFI. It worked perfectly. It solved my random engine stalling problem. Highly Recommended.
