Attention

Maintenance and Repair of Window Regulator
- During regular maintenance of the electric lifter, all moving parts of the motor should be cleaned. The shaft sleeve of the transmission part should be filled or replaced with lubricating grease. The wear marks and carbon deposits on the surface of the motor steering gear should be sanded with No. 00 sandpaper. Diamond gauze should not be used.

Regulator installed ok but the motor was in a different direction then the stock regulator. The plug wiring didn't match up with the holes in the door to guide and fasten so the plug stays out of the way of the track. I also felt that at the halfway point of rolling up the window, the motor struggles then picks up speed as it progresses to closing. I didn't feel like trying another one I siliconed the window track and called it a day.Update barely any use and this thing is junk gets half wayup and almost slows to a stop. Look elsewhere

Easy replacement for 1999 xj. Come to find out the rral reason my window didnt work was due to a wire in the bend of the driver door that had broke. I kept the new motor in and it seems to do fine.

Used this to fix my windows on a new to me 99 limited jeep cherokee that's actuators didn't work. I will note that this is a different design than that which is used oem however works just as good if not better than stock. Install was very easy as you just pop off the panel, tape the window or have someone hold the windows up. Take out old assembly and corasponding plug. Then unscrew window bolts from track. Then just do it all in reverse button it up and enjoy. It's very very reasonably priced considering the cost of others. It's great quality. Faster than stock. And will fit exactly the same. Again keep in mind this is not the oem style of part as the oem uses worm gear driven actuator and this is a winch type. I also purchased the other side window actuator from the same manufacturer and it worked just as well. See my other reviews for that. I would definitely recommend.

I rarely write reviews but had to for this item. The design is way better than OEM and everything is built much stonger than OEM. My window goes up and down faster than it ever has. Install was very quick on a 2000 XJ
