I bought a 2006 Mustang GT a few years back and paid the Upholsterer I use to fabricate me a new one. It's great but that cost me about $115. Later I bought a 2000 Maxima and it had the same problem. I was like... I'm not gonna pay that kind of money again. I picked this item up and took the parts to the same Upholsterer... He charged me $25 this time.

This is a non-giving/flexible material that you have to cut to size in order to install, and also punch holes where the brackets are screwed. If you cut too much material, there is no going back. Fitting the boot over the inner bracket ring will take some time and a few pounds if you're trying to lose weight. But once you get it on and replaced, and realize you've put it on backwards, you're just so glad to be done with it that you will love the end results regardless.

Did not fit with ring in it. Had to modify to make it fit.
