If my late Maine Coon were still around, this 7.5" SUSOOK stainless steel comb would have worked nicely for him. For our current housemates, a pair of American Shorthairs, this is much too big. Even the narrow teeth are too far apart to be of much help.The comb is sturdy, stainless steel, and easy to clean. The back is not magnetic but the teeth are, so this could be stored on a magnetic bar.

This is a no frills dematting comb with two tooth styles/widths. I think the intended usage model is to start with the wider teeth and progress to the smaller and narrower side when the larger mats are split. The all metal design is durable but I found it slightly harder to hold onto when trying to use it after a bath, as opposed to combs with polymer or rubberized hand grips. It was okay at dealing with snarls and minor tangles but keep some grooming scissors handy if you run into a difficult mat.

This comb gets through thick undercoats without pulling. My dog loves it!

My cat actually enjoys being groomed now. The rounded tips are gentle on her skin.

This comb glides smoothly through my dog's fur, removing tangles effortlessly. Highly recommend!
