This is a really nice towel ring. I'm slowly updating my half-bath into more MCM and this really fits the style. This is a heavy ring, it feels more like an oversized door knocker than a towel ring. The design and finish are really nice and I love that this is real metal as opposed to plastic and ceramic that my old one was.I haven't installed it yet, but it's going in tonight. There are four mounting holes, only a vertical pair can hit a stud (if I have one in the right place which I don't think I do). I'll probably use toggle bolts/anchors in two opposing corners, and the mollies on the other two - my bigger trick will be hiding the screw heads so they don't seem obvious- I may go so far as to paint them if I can't find a brass-finished screw at the hardware store.

I am really pleased with this towel holder. I am remodeling my bathroom in a sort of rustic glam look, and this double peacock design is perfect. Even though this is brass, it goes well with the brushed gold antique-look fixtures and mirror. This towel holder is heavy, so I'll either need to mount it to a stud, or use wall anchors. Two are included, but I would rather get some that are more robust to ensure long-term stability.

Heavier than expected, this is definitely a quality piece!This is going to look really great in my bohemian themed bathroom. Now I just need to drill the four holes and put this thing up on the wall with the included Hardware.The brass is solid and heavy and the design seems pretty typical of traditional art coming out of India.

This wall ring looks really nice and matches the antique feel of my bathroom. I installed this towel holder on the wall above my clawfoot tub. The design is not 100% symmetrical but I actually don't mind that.
