This outdoor light is all plastic, and the threads do cross easily as well as strip if overtightened. The height is good, and the light looks nice. You will need to heavily weigh the bottom if you are in a windy area like I am or even stake it through the bottom of the planter. I wish the planter was larger to hold more soil and weight for the light to stay upright.

This one is exactly what I wanted. The light is nice and bright! I filled the base with small stones to weight it done as it's always windy here. She's survived some goods winds too!
