Reviewing this 2.5 years later. when arrived the bottom of this engine was CRACKED, seller wouldn't cooperate much only received $25 back for damage, this engine LEAKS BIG TIME. I have to check the oil once every so often, the SHAFT ISN'T 3/4 diameter, it's a bit bigger and I had to shave it down significantly, and shaved the Inner of the washer pump I was mounting it to, and it barely worked, second, this engine isn't well built, it's very UNBALANCED, vibrating a lot for a small engine, I have to retighten the bolts holding it down every while, even with THREAD LOCKER, and for the last few months it gives me a hard time to start it, I had gotten the carburetor serviced, but it did it again every time it needs starter fluid to start, lastly the paint peeled on the fuel tank, muffler and any other painted surfaces, so, to sum it up they product is completely garbage. 1/10

The shaft is not machined to the correct 3/4 size. It is too big and a 3/4" clutch will NOT go on it. There isn't a sized one that will fit is so that makes it where you can't use it at all. The company only wants to give you $25 for your inconvenience but you will still have to buy another motor somewhere. The return shipping will fall on you and be more than the entire motor.

Defective case casting won't hold oil/fuel; Fire hazard; No customer service; No replacement ; No Seller support. P. Of S. Amazon will have to A 2 Z it because the seller won't step up at all.... I sure wish someone had told me......So consider yourself as being warned off being a loser this time 8~))))

This was a Great buy and a good replacement for a motor on a log splitter I really like the electric starter and it has a good price.
