Even though I looked up the exact part number from briggs and stratton, the part number that I ordered from here was NOT an exact fit an did not come with the right gaskets for my motor. I had to order them separately from another source. A bit of a headache.

The mower was running but it would backfire allot and wasn't producing power as it should. Sometimes it would just shut down for no reason. Checked all usual stuff, the electrical, valves and stuff. Decided it was the carburetor. It fired right up with the new carburetor on but still wouldn't run without the choke fully on. So, I put the new fuel pump on, and it did the trick. About the only thing I hadn't replaced. I thought the engine was going to blow it was running so fast. I adjusted the governor screw on the front of the carb about all the way out and it's running like a champ. It's probably not run this well since in 10 years.

The intake gaskets between intake and cylinder head are not the right size... idk if there is supposed to be a gasket there. My engine had gaskets there. It seems the oring gaskets should be enough to seal it.... in which case, it would be nice if this kit included those orings.

Easy diy for carb issues. Took less than an hour. Comes with 2 fuel filters and a shutoff valve and extra gaskets.
