I've used the Macerator twice since I have purchased it. So far it is worth it's weight in gold. Easy to use and pumps great. It has made one of the dirtiest jobs in camping in a RV so much easier.

This pump worked perfectly out of the box. I would suggest getting a 12 volt extension cord for it just to ensure proper reach to an outlet. Contrary to earlier reviews I had no overheat problem. The pump drained the black water tank as well as the gray water tank plus rinsing after a 6 day trip with no problems at all.

I usually go with Rhino for stuff like this, and for good reason; however, for a (small) fraction of the price of a Rhino macerator, I figured if it didn't work well, I could just toss it and I wouldn't be out much money.I hooked this to my 5th wheel with a 25-foot hose and parked the truck far enough away that it was a gradual, 6-foot climb to the transfer tank. This thing emptied a 40-gallon black tank and a 36-gallon gray tank in under 10 minutes and was insanely quiet. It feels heavy and well made, but not to the point where it's cumbersome.Overall opinion: They could charge way more for this thing and it would still be worth the money. Assuming it continues to function this well, I'll definitely replace it with the exact same model when the time comes.
