it was exactly as pictured, new in the package, however it was a lot smaller than I imagined it to be. Was not able to get a good feel for it's actual size. Hope it works. If it does, it will be nice to have different size needles to accommodate different thread sizes.

I needed this for threading yarn in my lunch needles and tufting guns. The wire is extremely thin. The wire has snapped easily as I’m threading the yarn. Do not recommend.This is an appropriate threader if you are only going to use it for threading very thin thread like embroidery floss. Yarn is too thick and you his does not hold up. Save your money.
