I really needed something to help with the occasional DIY haircut since getting the back just right on your own is quite a challenge. This mirror acts as a third arm basically! Quick and easy install and the black matches my other hardware.

Excellent build and style. The mirror mounted to the wall easily, but I recommend using stronger anchors to make sure it doesn't pull out when you move it because the tension in the hinges is strong, so it takes a bit of pull to move it about, but it also means it holds in place very well as you use it. The mounting is smart with a backing plate that the front section attaches to. They even included tiny rubber washers to cusion the screws as you attach it, which keeps it smooth and tight. The mirror is excellent and glass, which gives a great, clear reflection. They even included a little cleaning cloth. It easily folds away from the side of the main mirror so that it does not block it. Very functional.

I've always needed one of these so I can see the chaos that is going on in the back of my head after I style my hair.The arm lengths are perfect for stretching out, the magnification...wow! You'll see all the way into every pore with that thing. It's a simple matte black that doesn't look dirty like chrome can. I liked that it included all the parts needed so I could put it up myself, without my boyfriends help (or knowledge). I was impressed with the packaging too. You'd have to smash the entire box to actually break the mirror inside thanks to the foam.Great purchase, really glad I finally got around to getting one. Now why no one told me how back the back of my hair always looked, that's another story!

This is a great addition to my bathroom. The whole unit - mounting plate, extension arm, and mirror itself are very well made and of high quality. The black finish on it is very nice. I like that this unit can be mounted right at my height to make makeup application much easier. I placed it so I can tilt it in the direction of the window and use natural light to get ready. I took one star off because there is no light built into the unit for getting ready in the evening when extra lighting is helpful, and also for tweezing. There can be mild distortion on the 10x magnification side as well. But altogether, it's a great, functional, purchase at a fair price point and really elevates my bathroom.

This is a great mirror!! I have a wall mounted mirror like this one in my bathroom. kids and guests are always asking to use it so I wanted to put one in our 2nd bathroom. Now after seeing this one in person I am considering putting it in my bathroom and putting my old one in the other. The black looks so good, sleek, modern. Btw - all of the hardware is included , all joints glide smoothly and as they should. Looks to be very well made, the mirror quality on both sides is excellent, crisp and clear. Easy, straightforward installation. Just get it !!

The package came well padded, with all necessary hardware, and even a little piece of pink fabric to clean the mirror. The instructions were clear, with pictures, and a template that made it very easy to install. They recommend attaching it to a stud on the wall but since that location was not convenient for me, I just used 2 stronger anchors that can hold up to 75 lbs each. Probably a little overkill there but I had them at home, so why not?The mirror itself looks very sleek, is easy enough to move into different positions, and provides a clear image on both sides. There is a sticker on the 10x magnifying side saying it works better when you are about 4 inches away. I was able to pluck my eyebrows like I haven't been able to in years because I could see them so clearly and also every pore on my nose - which I wasn't as happy about. LOL Anyway, this is a great mirror for the price if you don't need it to have a built-in light. I give it a double thumbs up!

I live in a duplex and I have lived here for a very long time (which makes my excitement about this product even more ridiculous). At one point, my landlord occupied my unit and then rented it to a number of college students before I moved in many moons ago. What I'm getting at is... all of the improvements done while he occupied the unit met his needs as a taller (taller than me), thin, middle-aged man who embraces a more Spartan lifestyle. The improvements after he moved out of the unit met his needs as a landlord - he's pretty good about most things, but there are a few things that could be considered landlord specials.I didn't expect to live here as long as I have, but here we are 20 years later. Yeah, I could have a house more than half paid off by now but younger me wasn't very smart. At this point, we have a pretty good landlord/tenant relationship. He's older, and doesn't have family in town. I like him and I feel safe and comfortable where I live, and I get a really nice deal on my rent. Long story short, I have decided to save my money for the future and stay here as long as I can or until it doesn't work for me anymore. That being said... I have decided to make some big changes.The bathroom mirror/medicine cabinet is too high about the bathroom sink. I used to have full mirror shower doors, but those were replaced by glass a few years ago. I've been putting my makeup on in a mirror that feels too tall and not being able to get up close to my mirror for years. I decided to purchase a large mirror, but it is still farther away than I would like. Sometimes you just need to see your face REALLY close.I ordered this mirror for that reason. I should have done it years ago. It has been a huge change for me. Install was easy, because I'm pretty good at that kind of thing. It is super basic looking, no frills, which means I can change my bathroom decor without having to worry about whether or not it fits in with the changes I am making. The finish is matte black and very smooth, no dings or imperfections that I could notice. The arm moves easily. The magnifying mirror makes it easy to see all the things I want to see.I am a little worried because my bathroom is super humid, but I do have a fan and an extra dehumidifier running in there. So far so good.If you're in a situation where you need a closer or extra mirror, this is totally worth it.
