I love glow in the dark stuff and I’m an artist that does mostly glow in the dark work. Which is the reason why I got these pens. These pens are great in theory. But they could be better. Mostly they’re not 100% full of the color. Each pen was only about 50% full, which I found very disappointing.Just like other paint pens, these do tend to leak on occasion. But overall, once the color is flowing, it does flow really nice. But if you go over your previous work, it does tend to pull the paint up which I don’t like and the color is very uneven. They do glow in the dark, which is great. Like any other glow-in-the-dark stuff it has to be charged up in either the sunlight or a UV light to get the full effect.I will only be using this for fine detail work. Because that’s all they are really capable of doing these are not really good for filling in large spaces of color due to the unevenness of it.

These are fun paint pens with glow in the dark paint inside. They’re typical acrylic markers in the sense that you need to shake them up and then pump the tip to get the paint to flow, no complaints there. The paint inside is thinner and less opaque than i expected for an acrylic marker. It has more of a watercolor/water based marker look to it in that there’s a lot of transparency and you don’t get a solid block of color - you have patchy areas of pigment. Layering up the paint, letting each layer dry in between helps, with the best solution I’ve found so far to be laying down a layer of regular, opaque acrylic paint first, letting that dry, and then adding a layer or two of these glow-in-the-dark markers on top. I find most glow in the dark paint products to be like this, so I only took off one star. I kept the 4 stars because these glow really well! I have a UV light that I use to charge them up, but regular lights and sunlight will work too, it just won’t be quite as bright or you need to charge it up longer. They glow in the UV light AND glow-in-the-dark without the presence of the UV, so they work for either use. To recap, these need to be layered up, but they work great and add a touch of fun - the kids love it.

They don't work at all. Horrible paint pens. Do not buy. Total waste of money. Im not spending $8 just to return them! Come on, that's as much as they cost! Amazon is really starting to suck. As bad as Wish quality
