The safe cabinet appears to be as advertised. Assembled fairly easily with power screwdriver (small low quality screwdriver was provided). I did not test the battery driven code access yet. The key access works for my use of the item as a beefed up locking cabinet only.Issues: 1. Assembly video would not run on my Iphone. 2. Fireproof claim is questionable. I see nothing that supports it in the design and assembly. Is it the coating on the walls?At this point it appears to me that it is a good value purchase for my limited use. I am satisfied. I caution people considering one to be careful, because it appears to me that returning the item would be a nightmare. I consider it a sunk cost.

Basically a fancy locker. It does what I need it to but it's missing battery and keyhole cover. That's not cool

I did not have the luxury of returning the product, it'll have to do until I can find an adequate safe. The first question I asked prior to ordering----does the safe require the customer assemble it. I was assured the safe would arrive assembled. It did not arrive assembled. It is constructed of thin sheet carbon steel, bearing the question, is it seriously "fireproof"? The bolt on door is slightly more sturdy than the remainder of the product, however I am not confident of the fireproof and waterproof qualities claimed by the manufacturer. Assembling the safe was not "easy" and required assistance. Several of the fasteners were difficult to align as the nuts were out of line of sight. My opinion.......the product is oversell.

Packaged well. Reasonable ship time. Good quality. Small but secure. Fireproof. Good locking system. Small foot print good for a few long rifles. AR/Shot Gun/Henry. Secured to wall studs. Not fool proof but will slow down a theif and will keep the guns away from kids etc.. Good buy.

For $300 you can’t go wrong.Good quality, the safe took me a minute to get but I finally got it.There’s a button inside the door frame you need to press to set your own code which I don’t see they tell you about in the directions.Light comes on when you open the door but goes off pretty fast.It’s smaller than expected but honestly if it was any bigger it wouldn’t of fit the way I wanted it to in my small closet, so it turned out to be perfect.I kept 5 stars because for the cost it’s actually made pretty well.I might even purchase a second one for the opposite side of the small closet I have.Highly recommend for someone just starting there collection that doesn’t have a big budget.

However, when I started to use it to secure ammunition and miscellaneous parts, it became clear that the cabinet would prevent this stuff from falling off onto the bottom of the safe like what was happening in my old SnapOn gun cabinet. The locking door on this compartment prevents this from occurring. Very nice.The exceptional value, ease of use, solid construction, security features, and straightforward installation process make it a standout choice for people needing to protect a small number of firearms without breaking the bank.
