I only used this 2 days, but it did everything it should have during that time. It didn't work for my needs as I missed that this only has one video out, and I needed something that could run 2 monitors.

I used this USB hub on a MacBook Pro as both just a USB hub without a power source for keyboard and mouse. as well as plugging in the power adapter into the USBC on the Hub to be able to hook up a HDMI monitor to my MacBook as well. I unplugged the power and the monitor remained on for about 10 seconds and then powered off so you do need power going through it if you are going to use the HDMI as I would have expected. it also charged my MacBook when plugged into power and I was able to test with an SD card that I have. I do not have access to an RJ45 connection so I am unable to test that but I got it mainly to be able to hook up a monitor keyboard and mouse to my laptop along with power through the one connection. this has a nice aluminum body to it and feels like a very high quality product. so far working great would recommend.

This 8-in-one USB hub has gigabit Ethernet along with USB-A ports and HDMI. Note it's 4K 30 HDMI, which is an older version. It does not support 4K 60. It has a braided cable which is better for longevity. It works as expected and gives you the expansion options which may have been missing on your laptop, especially if it's a MacBook. Due to the older standard, it works better with extension cables if you are using one. Overall I recommend this USB-C hub.

I have three 3D printers and card switching in my laptop is tedious. My newest laptop has only one USB-C slot for example. With this hub, I am able to do away with sending print files to just one sd card. I can save said files to the appropriate printer card whilst using the slicer program! I haven’t had a chance to use the internet cable port yet. My laptop is too thin for a built-in one, so it is a solid option.

It has made my life much easier.It works great with my mac. You just plug it in and it's ready to go.I work from home sometimes and use different devices like headphone, camera and even chargers too sometimes this has solves many problems for me and the size is pretty small which is great so I don't have to worry about finding a place for it on my table and it's very lightweight and easy to carry in my laptop bag.

Good little hub to keep in your laptop bag to take on trips, etc. It works as expected. If you need HDMI and Ethernet, this is a great hub. Especially good for taking on the road. I can charge my MacBook Pro via the power port. (No data transfer in USB-C port - only power). This is not the hub to get if you are interested in additional USB-C ports! Still, this hub seems rugged, does not get very hot, and is a lightweight and welcome addition to my laptop travel bag.

This hub gives me several ports that my Macbook Air is missing which is great. I can extend my desktop display via the HDMI port and also connect my portable USB drives and SD cards. There’s a USB-C PD port so I can plug in the cord to the power brick and keep my laptop charged, so it only takes up one port on my Macbook. It’s pretty sweet. The few days I have been using it I’ve had no problems and haven’t needed to download any drivers— it all works out of the box (might be different for Windows machines). The ethernet port was key though, so I can hardwire to my internet router and get gigabit speeds. The USB ports are also nice and fast— no speed issues copying files off my thumb drive.This hub feels really solid with a metal casing but it very light, so it’s easy to transport. I’m very satisfied with it and find it a great addition to my laptop bag.

I have an all-in-one computer at my home & office, but different brands. I'd previously purchased a similar multi-USB hub for my home computer, because those all in one's don't seen to have enough ports. Or they're under the monitor, making use of flash drives difficult.I ordered this multi USB hub for my work computer, so that I have easier access to necessary ports & don't have to search for them underneath my monitor.This is compact & lightweight & has a decent amount of ports. I've seen one's with more, but I think this will work nicely for what I need.
