I ordered this file to modify the nuts for my suitcase wheels, as their heads were too large for the available space. I secured the file on a pair of clamps, attached the nut to my electric drill, and used the file to reduce the head's size. It filed the metal effectively, leaving a reasonably smooth surface, but i refined with sandpaper just to make it smoother.. The file itself seems sturdy, with a strong handle. It worked well for my intended purpose. Remember to wear safety goggles and a mask when filing metal!

This file arrived in a simple clear bag inside an amazon bag, which is fine for basic tools.The file itself is strong and works well, though the handle feels less tough than I expected. If it were a harder plastic it would be 5/5 stars.I would still recommend it though as it works just fine as is.
