Bought these to cover up oversized holes that the owner before me put in the ceiling. I ordered the 6 pack but only needed 3. Good thing as 3 of the 6 were scratched or scuffed and not use able. No instruction. on how to use the clips.

Worked great for my canless install. Contractor cut the holes with a Sawzall, and these fixed the problem. Look really good too.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!The C clips are so thin they bend and let the springs go free from the lights. Constructed of very thin metal and they can be bent easily without tools. Tried to reach out to Harrrrd but they do not post any phone for contact. All issues must be by email.In my opinion, any company that sells an inferior product and will not allow a customer to reach them by phone is hiding that their products are inferior and all they care about is the sale. Profit before Customers!

Drilling holes for the clip adaptor brackets was a bit of work, but worth the effort and resulted in a good installation. The trim rings were easy to install and covered some existing drywall goofs.

I replaced several recessed pull spring can lights which didn’t have any C clips on the side in the housing. The retrofit LEDs need the C clips and we’re about 1/4” smaller than the old trim housing, which left a discolored border. This was a simple means to and end. When using the self drilling screws, this is infinitely easier in your hammer a dimple into the housing with a metal punch/screwdriver pick and then drill; as well, if you lack a flexible coil style screw gun extension, that’s helpful too.

I used these for to do an led retrofit on some patio lights. Not only was the builders original cut a hack-job, the can was 6.5" diameter, instead of the normal 6". I installed the c-clips with the ring = problem solved. Only minor thing is that I need sand my ceiling to get the ring to sit flush. Ceiling issue not product.

When I decided to upgrade my kitchen 6 inch recessed can lights, I bought 6 inch LED fixtures. When I removed the old cans, I found the holes were more like 7 inch to 7.5 inches. These rings saved the day!!!! I highly recommend them for their opening size and the overall size.
