I inherited a donated coax video camera security system without any cabling. I was faced with the prospect of having to purchase hundreds of feet of video/coax/power cables to run the wires for these cameras. But then I ran across this listing and was intrigued.As soon as these adapters arrived, I tried them out and they work great! I just plug one end into the security recorder/NVR and the other connector into the short cables coming off the back of a camera. Then I run a regular Cat-5/Cat-6 cable between the two connectors and the cameras came up and worked just fine!I'd much rather run hundreds of feet of Cat-5 cable instead of specialized coax that can only be used for cameras so these adapters will be a huge help for me.
