I bought mine 25 years ago and it is an absolute work horse and with 4" heads it is much more effective than devices with a single larger pad. Very safe to use on paint, but using a yellow pad, I've been successful in closing up scratches that were down to the primer, essentially closing the open gap so that the scratch disappears.Highly recommended.

Husband wanted this for his 40th BDay, he owns a small plane that is poloshed aluminum. He does the whole plane in no time, whereas before with the typical Harbor Freight polisher, he would just do one panel for an hour each time he polished. He is crazy about this thing. Glad since its so expensive.

I bought one to polish my Airstream camping trailer. I only used it for the final polish and buff. I had less than 20 hours using the tool and it just quit. I checked the brushes and they were OK. Ran through the rest of the troubleshooting procedures without success. I will have to send it back lto the factory for repair when they reopen due to Corona Virus. Frankly, I think they are living off an old reputation established by Cyclo before Rupes USA Inc bought them out.
