Had a WiFi-AC card installed in my PC; replaced that with this chip, and I was able to access WiFi-6E from my TP-Link router. Also supports 160mhz bandwidth for AC and AX SSIDs. Works good with my Bluetooth mouse too. Intel's standard driver set for BT & WiFi work fine with this adapter.

A little tricky to install antennas to, But look up videos for directions and you'll get it. Great reception on both wifi and bluetooth

The original card was really slow and dying. The new card is very fast and works great.

Original 3160 AC Wifi Card useless for network use (read slow). New card is so much faster. Highly recommend this upgrade.

I purchased this wifi card with minimal research as for it’s a replacement for an Asus Zephyrus G GA502DU, and there were was not much information on reddit or the web. According to Intel, the card should fit and function properly. I installed it and it did not work initially. I attempted again, still nothing. I made sure I installed the drivers before hand, and attempted again with the drivers after the card was installed, but to no avail. Finally, after I had initially given up and started a return for incompatible wifi card, I decided to take some time and reseat the card an additional 4 more times. On the 4th try, the card worked. The only thing I did different was ensure that the black and white wires were connected to the card before installing it into the slot. Not sure if that did the trick, but the card is working now, and I relieved. Now, I don’t have to take a chance another card, though I think the ax200 would work and appears to be better card, but I don’t feel like going through the return process since this card is an upgrade to inadequate stock wifi card that that Zephyrus G brings. By the way, the Zephryus G is a great laptop. People say the biggest von is the dim display, but that honestly makes little different to me. It is a bit dull, but still better than my old desktop monitor, and just slightly below newer ASUS monitor.

I have an internal pci-e WIFI BT card from gigabyte in my PC and I wanted the upgraded BT standard without buying a while new unit. I bought this and swapped out the one on the PCB with this and it works perfectly! Pleasantly surprised it worked so well and was so easy to do.Definitely worth every penny!

Like so many others, I used this to replace a Killer Wireless card. If Killer got one thing right with their cards, it's the name; 'cause it was killin' me!I swapped out the Killer Wireless 1435 in my Alienware 15 R4 for this Intel WiFi card, and all my previous issues were resolved. It holds the connection to my router flawlessly, it reconnects automatically when I bring the system back from hibernation or suspend, and download speeds don't suddenly tank for no reason.Bluetooth is also vastly improved. My headphones connect immediately, and use the right profile. Connections with the old Killer NIC used to drop to dial-up speeds when using any Bluetooth device, but not anymore. This $35 investment is an absolute no-brainer for anyone with a Killer WiFi card; and hopefully OEMs will just use these by default in the future. Intel's CPU department may be slipping up lately, but their networking division knows how to turn out a good product.

About 6 months ago, I purchased an Alienware 17R5, their latest gaming rig, which came OEM sporting a Killer 1550 WiFi/bluetooth card. These are plagued with dropouts and other issues, so I purchased this Intel 9260. Pay attention to your CPU, as there are vPro and no-vPro versions. That does matter. Since replacing the OEM card with this one? Rock solid WiFi-- zero drop outs, no lost DNS, just worked all day long. Before? I would experience 5-7 drop-outs requiring either a reboot or a reset of the card. It is such a relief to be rid of all that annoyance.Replacement was fairly easy, as Alienware build these with fairly easy access to replaceable hardware. The old WiFi card was held with a tiny screw and a plastic gizmo, and was underneath a conductive signal shield (flexible graphite-impregnated plastic). There were also a pair of very delicate antenna "snaps" in the upper-right of the card. The screw is easy enough to get out, and the card, like all M.2 cards, simply lifts up-- you have to take care to not break the antenna wires though. Carefully pop those up-- *straight* up, or you will mangle the base sockets on the card. Set the old card aside, then re-attach the wires to the new one, as they were on the original card. A very gentle press will snap them into place. Return the card to the slot-- it will have zero resistance, and tend to sit up a bit. Before putting the screw in, you need to replace the plastic gizmo on the card (there is a little tab that has to go below the card) --it seems to be there to help keep the delicate antenna wires in place. Press gently on the plastic gizmo, and everything lines up to allow the screw in. No need to over-tighten, as Alienware has some blue thread locking compound on the screw, which hold it from vibration. Boot up, let Windows find the new card, and Presto-Chango-- WiFi access. In fact, it was so fast I didn't see it at first. I did go into Device Manager, to force the latest Intel drivers in, as is typical, Windows Update was a couple of versions out of date.

My laptop's original network card started failing so I bought this as a replacement. I was a bit concerned since the pins didn't line up but it did fit in the socket perfectly. So glad I got this, I finally have dual-band wifi and upgraded my Bluetooth. Installing the hardware was troublesome but everyone's motherboard is different so the process will vary. My motherboard immediately recognized the card as an OEM Intel card and had the proper drivers already installed. Updating the drivers was very easy. I'm very happy with this replacement/upgrade. I can't guarantee how long it will last but it is inexpensive enough to replace if anything goes wrong. I highly recommend this product to anyone considering buying it.

Bought this to replace the killer 1535 wifi card on my alienware 15 r3 laptop as the killer card wasn't playing nice with the latest windows update. Easy install, windows had preinstalled river that worked right out of the box. Haven't noticed a difference in speed (which is good as the killer card is fast) but this card doesn't cut out ever so I'm happy. Would highly recommend.
