Wrong polarity for my stove. Opens the circuit when warming up and closes circuit on cooling down. Reverse polarity of what I need

This product was used in my pellet stove. Was a exact fit and only took approximately five minutes to install and was up and running.

This switch is either defective or listed for the wrong application. The one I received is normally closed, which is the opposite of what it is supposed to be for a pellet stove low limit switch. The way it should be, the switch is open until it gets up to temperature, then the switch closes. This one is closed all of the time, and opens when it gets up to temperature when tested with a lighter.
