Takes an interesting 3-D like image. Difficult to position and hold still, even with tripod and not too stable when positioning the camera lens for viewing and taking pics. Fun to work with and the price was right.

When I first saw the advertisement zooming in on something a mile away, I thought that it was so cool, because I like to observe wildlifeand trespassers. At first I tried it out just as a monocular. At a thousand feet, it was barely usable. The image was small and not verygood definition. Then I thought I must need to use the camera for further amplification, and the best shot I could get with the camera using the directions was the picture you see above of a bow on a christmas wreath, twenty feet away. Worse amplification. Don't waste your money. I paid $49 and am returning it. I am so glad that I did not use it for a Christmas present without checking it out first.

I gave this to my son as a Christmas gift, his first monocular. He likes to borrow my binoculars all the time so I got him his own scope for a beginner. He was very impressed with the distance he can see and the cell phone adapter where you can photograph Using the monocular. Pretty cool feature and not bad for the price being that it is his first one. I’m sure in a couple of years he will be investing in a bigger one that looks even farther. I’ll probably go to Amazon for that one as well. Thank you, Amazon!

Was wanting something more powerful than my zoom on my cell phone. This product is stated to be 80X100 when it is actually 10X42. I have nice binoculars that I can use instead of this. Also as seen in the pictures the zoom on my phone is better. Had this been a 100mm lense it would have been more useful. This would be good if you don't have a modern flagship phone or no other piece of glass.

1. Website says 80x100. the lens is 1.81 inches, equals 45.9mm. the x100 means 100mm. 2. the monocular holder isn't flush to phone. looks like holder can't support weight of monocular. 3. tested moncular at home, finding magnification amount and area unimpressive, blurry, narrow sharp'ish area. 4. tested w phone (galaxy s22+), and monocular didn't enhance quality of photo.seller should mark box and product with magnification and width. I can see why there's room for selling wrong product, inaccuracy. almost designed in hopes of overwhelmed, too busy, nieve consumer, or high risk taker - if you didn't believe the review (aka me). bad business, but can improve. I don't trust this product or the seller now. no q&a of product. ironically blurry/unclear, the business, and the focus.
