Also: preisgünstig, praktisch, qualitativ sehr gut, sehr empfehlenswert!

Definitiv.

I needed a new nd variable filter after my genustech eclipse fader developed some stains internally on glass that i couldn't get to. Didn't want to spend that much money on another genustech, so tried this one out. The first pic was taken by a canon 5d with canon 85mm f1.8 wide open set to minimum on the fader. Shutter speed was 1/3200. Second pic is the same but fader set to max with shutter speed of 1/60. No X pattern to be seen. For long exposure at the beach in late afternoon I can set it to Max and easily do f9, ISO 100, with a 4 second shutter speed to get that silky water effect. This is great for video and stills.

The frame looks thick but its lightweight and comfortable. no vignetting or "X" mark, The lens coating does wonders and has not gotten scratched thanks to it's super hard coating. It has a lock system can go from ND2-ND1000 so that it doesn't go beyond the Min and Max setting. In my Opinion, it is perfect.

Filter size: 77mmUsing a D5600 camera on 18-55mm Nikon lens, I get a solid results without any X or vignetting on the image even when the dial is set to Max. I shoot on a bright sunny afternoon and was able to get about 30sec exposure before the image becomes overexposed. So far, I'm not seeing a loss of image quality in terms of resolution orPros:-affordable-lightweight and compact-no vignetting or "X" mark on my images even when dial is set to Max.-have not gotten any scratches yet even after multiple use, though I'm very careful when handling it-a lock system so that it doesn't go beyond the Min and Max settings-filter can go from ND2-ND1000 of course!Cons:-unable to be attached on a 77mm lens hood due to its size: the rings, the dial, and the filter in general-front thread is about 86-87mm so I'm unable to find a compatible lens hood-while filter is on the lens, an "X" marking appears on my camera's viewfinder when I have my Polarized shades on, though it's not on the images that gets captured.Final thoughts:I might replace this mainly because I'm unable to find a lens hood that can fit on the front. I've seen some glare on my pictures, but it can be prevented if I shoot away from a strong light source (but come on, not always avoidable, and I like having a lens hood :P)I will upload some sample images once I save my pictures as JPEG... bit lazy at the moment ;)

Too expensive to scratch too easily!!! There are corners of darkness when going from 0 to MAX.
