Wow! Whoever came up with this idea is a genius. Removing a hub bearing with this tool with out breaking a sweat. Well constructed and very heavy metal. You can use a sledge hammer on this thing and it wouldn’t damage this tool. Great tool to have in your garage. Can’t beat this beast.

I ordered this, only to be told it “was damaged”Then never got the option to have one sent to me for replacement of the “damaged” one. Was told after the original arrival date that I was getting a refund.

I have one specific complaint about this model. I just wish they had a larger/wider striking base. It's a bit of a small target when doing a serious overhead swing.I used a 10# maul and went at it for a good hour on/off. I managed to break a tiny crack at the top, but the bottom half was still fused to the knuckle. Rust belt vehicle, 20 years old, 175k miles without a hub change. I eventually gave up and tried some throughbolts to push against the body of the knuckle. After cutting off 2 hub bolts and pushing from the top/bottom, I was able to push off the hub within minutes.See photo, I got some good strikes in on both sides of the shocker, made some serious dents in the plates. I also tried hitting from the sides (not reinforced). If nothing else, at least the welds held up and didn't snap off. I'll still keep this to use as a first option, but if I can't get hubs off within a few good strikes, I'll switch to another option (throughbolts are disposable, may fail after 1 use).The quality really is good here. Decent welds, very heavy duty. I'm sure it will work great for vehicles in the south, but less likely in salt country. And if nothing else, you can use it as a way to easily rotate the hub/axle by hand without the rotor/wheel installed

This is a very heavy tool and can take a beating, great for getting the more challenging hubs out that are just stuck. Nice thick pad to hit and don’t have to worry about hitting back and forth. Nice tool to have in your arsenal.

I love this hub puller. It is heavy! Also it is heavy duty. It fit on 3 different hubs I had in the shop. I bolted it to a difficult to remove Subaru hub and with one swing of the maul, it was loose. Giant time saver! Also a good selection of standard and metric bolts are included. It is ridiculous that I have never owned a tool like this, being a mechanic who does lots of hub replacements! This is a must have! Well constructed! 5/5 stars!

Yea, this thing will take a beating and keep going. THICK steel that's very heavy. I have several vehicles that use hub bearings and when they get stuck, they're a nightmare to get off - not to mention, you beat your tool and the hub pretty badly. This will protect both since it gives you leverage. Imagine being able to whack your hub with a big sledgehammer and not destroy anything! (Other than maybe your foot if you miss.)

I have been wanting one of these for a while. Living in Michigan (lots of potholes) I've changed out a ton of wheel bearings. And sometimes they can be very difficult to remove (rusted in place). That's where one of these removal tools is great to have. I haven't used it directly yet, but my initial impression is good. It seems very heavy and solid. With big thick welds and metal pads added where you will be hitting it with the sledge. Also includes an assortment of nuts for different applications. I will be using it mainly for GM products. Overall happy with this item.
