I like to paddleboard and get out with some freediving in shallow waters. I wanted something to keep the paddleboard stationary for when I jump off and this is perfect!💓 Things I love 👇📏 Perfectly-sized for shallow waters near shore.💪 Sturdy fiberglass construction.🧽 Easy to wipe down and clean after use.🧤 Comes with gloves for safety.🎒 Collapses and is easy to carry.😐 Things I think are meh👇📎 While not a requirement, would be nice to have a larger and more accessible way to break down the rod versus having to use allen keys.

Really high quality and heavy duty. Easy to assemble- wasn't sure what one of the lug nuts was for? Says it comes with extra screws, but was never sure what the random lugnut was fot, but still works just fine. It's long, ridgid, and absolutely does its job. The gloves are a nice touch.Very happy with this. higher quality than the pictures sugggest.

This itayak 8.63' Shallow Water Anchor has been a game-changer for my fishing kayak. It’s lightweight enough to handle easily on the water but strong enough to keep me locked in place even in current or wind. The fiberglass-reinforced shaft and stainless steel tip dig right into the bottom, whether it's sand or clay, and hold fast. The T-handle makes it simple to push into the lakebed or pull out, and I really appreciated the included gloves—it’s a small thing, but thoughtful. It gives me the freedom to stay positioned exactly where I want without constantly drifting, which is crucial when casting or working with structure. If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the pole easier to break down—right now, you need Allen wrenches to do it. A quick-connect or tool-free system would make transport and storage more convenient.Overall, it’s a solid piece of gear I’d recommend to any kayak angler looking for a reliable shallow water anchor.

So far so good. Im sure there are lighter one piece poles but at the price this does the job. I'd prefer the join between the two parts were more seamless with something akin to the way a kayak paddle joins, but again for the price I'm not complaining. Second time out with it in my kayak and it's already come in handy getting through a shallow weedy area.
