If you, like me, only install aluminum rivet nuts occasionally, this tool is probably the most affordable option available.However, I do not recommend this tool if you:1. Use rivet nuts made of materials other than aluminum (e.g., stainless steel).2. Need to install rivet nuts frequently.The reason for that is: The tool's mandrels cannot be replaced if they break. You won't be able to find replacement mandrel that works for this tool except buying a new set.This type of tools use M6x1 left-hand threading screws. (I'm not completely certain, but that's what it appears to be). Meanwhile, the mandrels available online tend to have an M8 screw and are designed for more expensive models.Additionally, there are specific techniques for using the tool, or you risk bending or breaking the mandrel like other reviewers said:1. The mandrels have left-hand threading, meaning you have to spin them in the opposite direction compared to normal threading screws.2. To properly install the mandrel and cap, you may need to slightly clamp the handle. Do not spin too hard.3. Conduct a few test runs to determine the proper clamping force. Avoid clamping too tightly, as it can damage the mandrels.In conclusion, if you only install M3-M8 aluminum rivet nuts occasionally like me, this tool will totally be worth it. Otherwise, more advanced models with replaceable mandrels are strongly recommended.
