I got this to mess around with and learn some chords because I was bored. It’s been really cool. I got the simply piano app and have been doing about 20-30 minutes 3 days a week and have picked up a little piano skill. Planning to blow my wife’s mind in a few months (working remote so this is a surprise I’m gonna give her). Like people said the speakers aren’t great but it works for everything I need and for the cost seems really well built. People hating on it need to understand that if they want a better sound or experience they need to spend 3x the money. For me this is ideal. Highly recommend.

I will start with the good things you should know. This keyboard is a great price point for offering 88 keys, and for the fact that it does aim to bring a sense of realism of an actual piano sound (but *ONLY* with headphones can this be heard & appreciated). The weighted keys feel just right for practicing. It is extremely portable and comes with a great case if portable is what you are looking for. For power, you charge this device with the small USB-C cable and jack it comes with. So no wall adapter to run it, you just turn it on. The battery lasts comfortably for a long time.It does come with a pedal technically (which is a good thing and makes a difference)..... but it is a very cheap plastic square that is loud to use (and not nearly as effective as it should be). The keyboard comes with headphones too. Just be careful, because the smallest bit of static will make no sound come out of the system or through the headphones. If that ever happens a touch of water is a quick fix for that.__________________________________________________Now the not-as-good things you should know. The built-in speakers are, indeed, exceptionally poor.... but are alright to use if you are just strictly bored or if it is for small children. If you plug in headphones however, the quality skyrockets. I deeply appreciate the quality of sound being likened unto a real piano with a good pair of headphones. It is good for practicing for what you need to play a full piano of 88 keys; with weighted sensitivity and the full 88 set. The use of this product with a high-quality music set of headphones makes this item worth my time. But the internal speakers are brutally bad and low quality (please be aware). That being said; using *external speakers, or great headphones, is the answer to get realistic and good sound from this product. A high-end set of bass-adjustable computer speakers (that plug into a smaller standard 3.5mm jack) is what you would want with this device for better external sound; **Not an amp** due to what this keyboard was designed for. Unfortunately, it does not have the standard input/output options that a professional or average piano keyboard has, I am sad to say. The headphones, mic, and sustain outlets only have tiny 3.5mm openings (the size of a standard headphone jack) - instead of the larger desirable 6.35mm (usually used for amps, pedals, and other music equipment).__________________________________________________An encouragement; I will say, there are small little adapters that exist which can fit into these smaller 3.5mm outlets and convert them to bigger 6.35mm sockets that you may plug in what you like. With that being said - the 3.5mm holes doesn't have to stop someone from trying this unit with a high quality sustain pedal (6.5mm cord).Technically you can use that type of adapter to hook up the keyboard to an amplifier; but **DO NOT; as amps are meant to handle a different type of keyboard system. You may think it is a good idea, because it is an instrument; but it isn't. An amplifier will blow it.This system cannot be used that way. This is a folding keyboard designed for portability and convenience, and consequently only offers 3.5mm jacks (I think for good reason). Be careful and be aware you can damage your keyboard. When using external devices use discretion; do not use amps.It does offer 128 tones, but I have to be honest there were maybe just 3-4 (apart from the main piano sound) that I actually felt like using. Others may feel different; and I am sure children would have loads of fun. Keep in mind though.... the buttons are actually very annoying and not designed well, but you adjust. They are impractical to the point its noticeable. However if you just want to keep it on a single tone, it isn't so bad.*ADDITIONAL NOTEIf you want to rely on the music stand to hold material or a tablet, they will just slide off. There is no groove across the bottom to catch them or hold them in place, rendering the music stand almost entirely pointless. I play by ear and don't require this, but a stand that works would have been great. It is always nice to have the option for whatever reason (such as tablet placement).Extra Note (UPDATE):For headphones, get a high quality headset that also takes a battery, boosting the quality of sound. And you will be very happy with the clarity and realism of piano sound. Apart from this, the only thing I could ask for with this keyboard, is only an effective and realistic sustain pedal (but a "3.5mm to 6.35mm" port converter may be all that is needed). For the professional that wishes to practice *quietly and contently, and with only this kind of budget they wish to use, this keyboard is definitely for you (with extremely good headphones). You have realistic touch to the size and surfaces of the keys (to many pianos), full 88 keyset to play with, weighted-sensitivity sound output, extremely (extremely) high portability; also rechargeable with very long battery life, and with the correct pair of *headphones.... you can't do better with this budget for realistic piano sound. If those features are all you were looking for, and you are content with a great headset, you will be so happy.

Good piano, has all the basic tools you need. Sound is barely okay from the installed speakers. Sounds way better in earphones. Really portable and lightweight. Not a bad place to start as a beginner considering the price, especially on a sale.

PROSThis full-size keyboard is easy to fold up and store out of the way. To play, it can be placed anywhere, even on the kitchen table. It charges conveniently by USB and once charged it lasts a long time. With the carrying case, it's easy to bring with you anywhere. They keys have a good weight to them. It's also very nice looking. It comes with headphones and a sustain pedal.Excellent customer service from the seller!CONSEven on low volume, it is loud for an apartment but it comes with headphones. There is a bit of a background buzzing sound but turning off the light-up feature (by long-pressing the metronome button) reduces this sound. For what it is, I still give it five stars and would recommend, as an affordable, compact and portable option with full-size playability. Perfect for learning (and also perfect for kids with two homes!)

I purchased this keyboard for my daughters piano lessons. she has to transport her keyboard to and from classes every week and it is perfect! She is eight years old and can carry it without any assistance. when she places the bag on the table, she is able to independently collapse the keyboard and pack it back in the carryon. All the pieces that she needs are included and it was a great price considering the quality is great! The best part for my husband (lol) are the headphones that are included. They are comfortable for our daughter and she loves being able to practice before she unplugs them to play for us.Absolutely such a great buy.I would recommend this without hesitation

The piano is very portable, which allows me to take it with me when I travel (work or vacation), I have had it with me for 4 months and I have taken it with me on 2 trips of more than a week, which allowed me to practice and entertain myself trying to learn new songs.I like it because it has bluetooth and allows me to connect it to a tablet and use it with the piano learning apps, and headphone connection to practice without disturbing anyone, it is very entertaining to practice with this piano. The keys are sensitive to pressure and are semi heavy, the battery lasts about 10 hours of use, the sound is not very good but mostly serves to practice with it outside the home or as a piano for a complete beginner like me.

First!! I would say this is a well made keyboard for entry level people who are just starting on learning how to play piano or keyboards. Only with this in mind then this should be up to your expectations, but if you are expecting something more than that then I think you should pay the premium and get something really good like Yamaha P-125 for example.IMO, learning a new instrument is tough and easy to give up. Therefore, beginners should not look for something premium. Still, something that is good enough that it doesn’t sound like a toy. Especially for those that are under $100…..Now, if you shop with a beginner point of view there is only a few you need to keep in mind. First, sounding of the keyboard. Second, the quality, touch and feel of the keyboard. Last, the functionality of it.Now back in to the review of this keyboard.Sound 4/5Surprisingly this keyboard has very loud sound. If you turn it all the way up to max, even if you are playing at the basement your whole house is going to hear it. However, this sound is not cheap! If you ever bought one of those cheap keyboard then you should what I meant. Those sounding like a cheap toy. Though, the speaker is great and lots of sound effects are included in this keyboard. The reason why I would say buy a good piano like Yamaha is because even though it’s not a toy, it does not produce the classical piano sound that big manufacturers put a lot of money in to for R&D to make a $1000 keyboard having the sound of a $500k piano. Standalone just speaking of the speakers themselves it’s really good.Quality and touch 4.5/5Now, for a $1000 dollar keyboard not only it has good sound but it should have a great quality and texture to it. Which it makes you feel like you were playing on a classic one. To make this happen there is 2 factors. One is to have weighted keys, which means you can feel the heft of the key and it reacts and produces the same amount of energy of the sound when you hit it. The lighter you hit the lighter the sound it produce. Second, would be the quality and texture of the key. Even for keyboard at a premium, most likely they would still be plastic. In my opinion this keyboard has very good touch of the key, not to say they are the best, but if you compare plastic to plastic. You can’t really make much out of it either. Even compared to a premium one this keyboard still feels very solid.Functional 3/5Although this keyboard does offer over 100+ sound effect, but other than that not much more. It only serves you with the basic function. Which like I said in the beginning this is only a entry level keyboard. However spending $200 for a entry keyboard is it worth it?I would probably say no……. Maybe a toy is enough? But, out of all the good sound it produces and quality it has. It’s a folding keyboard!!!!!With what I was looking for an entry level keyboard there is also one big factor in my mind is that it must be easy to store or carry, because you never know if you really gonna play on them everyday or not. You might easily lose your interest in the first month and put it away. Therefore having it easy to fold and store is big for me…. So I can just put them away and take them out when I like, even if it would be a year or later.Lastly, this keyboard is charged with type-c same like the new iPhone 15, not only its fast to charge but the battery in them last for a long time.To be honest, with this kind of conveniences I really thought this would be a toy like keyboard. But once I got my hands playing on them and having fun with it. I would say it really was well made and matches it’s price tag for sure. Since it’s easy to carry, one day even if I bought a premium keyboard to enjoy. This would be a good instrument to band with my friends because it’s loud and don’t feel bad if it breaks when playing them on a pool party.

Keyboard is ok for practice or a new player. Definitely not pro sound, but if hooked up to a decent amp not bad.

I was searching for a reasonably priced keyboard specifically to use with the PianoVision app on Quest 3. Without going too in-depth, PianoVision is a mixed-reality application that will map your physical keyboard and provide numerous overlays with instruction courses from beginner to advanced. The app can use either literally any keyboard/piano, but the app also supports midi. Which leads me to this particular keyboard. So if you are using or interested in PianoVision, the keyboard I purchased works very well. I'll explain how there are two ways to use it with the app. The keyboard charges via USB C and that port is also your MIDI out. You can merely run a USB C to USB C cable directly from the keyboard to the Quest 3 headset and it will automatically be detected as a MIDI device and the app can see it. The next way you can connect is via your PC. In this case, I ran a USB A to USB C cable from my PC to the keyboard. You must install the PianoVision software on your PC (or Mac) and connect it (which is really just 1 simple click) and the app on your Quest will see it. The only real caveat to using a connection to the PC is that it introduces some latency--but that is NOT caused by the keyboard, that's just the inherent latency of connecting over a network.I watched a ton of YouTube video reviews of this model keyboard. It is sold under a variety of names, but they're all exactly the same. Nearly all reviews agree--the speakers on this thing are pretty bad. But if you use headphones (or in my case the Quest 3), then it's just not an issue. And if you're just wanting to practice then the sound is decent enough. And you can always just plug in an external speaker if you want. As of late 2023, you're not going to find a cheaper full-sized keyboard with MIDI than this model. It's portable, it can easily be folded & stored, it has a modern USB C MIDI port that works. And if you're looking for a keyboard that works flawlessly with PianoVision, then this model is perfect.
