Q&A Time:
- Question 1: Can it work without Internet?
- Answer: Yes. All the JouSecu PoE systems can work offline. But when you want to remote viewing on your phone or PC, you will need to connect the PoE NVR to the internet router by ethernet cable.
- Question 2: How is the connection? Is the system truly plug & play?
- Answer: Yes. PoE (Power over Ethernet ) makes the cameras be able to get power and meanwhile get into the network with only one ethernet cable connected to the NVR recorder.
- Question 3: Can I add a different camera to this system?
- Answer: Yes. You can add JouSecu PoE cameras to the system. However, we don't recommend you add other brands cameras to it since there may be compatibility issues.

Camera #2 under a covered porch works great. Camera #1 facing driveway, great during daylight, but nearly black during nighttime. Infrared is not reflected back to the camera if the soil is dark. Camera number 1 had to be mounted upside down for display to be correct. This make the rain shield useless as it is now underneath the camera. My email question to supplier as how to correct this problem has gone unanswered. The system works great otherwise. Display switches between cameras every 5 seconds on a dedicated monitor perfectly.My Telephone calls to the company were intercepted by an answering machine that directs you to an outfit trying to sell emergency call buttons and will not forward the call until you listen and answer questions. Kind of bait & switch tactic which only leads to more frustration with the company.
