This is SO handy! The corner protectors slide right in and stay on the end of the pole until you get them seated and pull the pole back. I love the long extension handle. I have another one of these that's poorly made that I haven't yet reviewed. It's good to see a quality tool like this one. The handle extends easily and locks very securely while the hand grips are pretty comfortable, though I wish I could move the top one up more. The only thing that is slightly tricky is getting it to thread correctly, be careful of that as it seems you could risk stripping out the plastic on the top piece. Once secured though, it's tight (unlike the other one that seems like an eventual lawsuit).I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this, I can't speak on longevity but it seems well made upon first use... I believe it should last.
