This is a great set of 8-in-1 Needle Files and Saw set from Toolan. The carrying case is nice so it keeps the files together with the tool handle, and the files are perfectly sized for small projects. The case has a pivoting holder for all the files and blades, so you just flip it up with your finger and pull out the tool you want. The tool holder is very easy to use - just press down on the round edge of the pivot, and you can insert or remove the tool. Release it to lock it in place. It's such a nice tool holder!I like to make 3D parts as well as silversmiths jewelry, so this file set is perfect for my workbench. I have an old set that I've been using that doesn't have the handle, and the handle is a game changer as it makes gripping so much more comfortable. Overall, this is a great set of files and saws to add to you workbench. It's a good quality set and is offered at a very competitive price.

This review is for, “8-In-1 Needle File & Saw Set With Storage box, 6 pcs Small Diamond Files, for Metal, Jewlers, Wood, Leather and Plastic, Ergonomic Designed Handle With Quick Change Mechanism”. When I was a child, my father bought me a file set for woodworking. I was just thinking about that set and wondering what happened to it when this one became available through the Vine program. The surface of these files is quite different from the files that I had back in the 1980’s, which worked with ridges; but these files work just as nicely. Perhaps even more quickly. The handle is also a very nice feature that I did not have. It holds the files or blades very securely and even has a head that can rotate, turning the file or blade whatever direction you need. The case is a very nice touch and holds everything securely. It doesn’t strike me as a case that can withstand a drop on a cement garage floor, but it is a nice place to keep the set together. I’m very happy with this set.

This handle and file kit is great for easing strain on your hands when you need to file something down. The kit is nicely packaged and the pieces are easy to remove. The handle is quite comfortable and it's well built. The handle itself is a perfect size for your hands. Overall it's a decent price for what it is and it's quite functional.

I often need to do fine filing, shaping, or sawing on small parts for hobby projects, jewelry making, or intricate repairs on metal, wood, or plastic. A full-size file set is too big, and regular saws are too coarse. This TOOLAN 8-in-1 needle file and saw set is perfect for that kind of detailed work.The main feature is the ergonomic handle with a quick-change mechanism. You get a variety of tiny tools – six diamond-coated needle files in different shapes (flat, round, square, triangle, etc.) and two small saw blades. The handle allows you to quickly swap between the different tips by loosening and tightening a collar. This is much more convenient than having separate handles for each tiny file.The diamond files are excellent for working on harder materials like metal, glass, or ceramics, as well as wood and plastic. They allow for precise shaping and deburring in tight spaces. The small saw blades are great for making fine cuts in materials like plastic or soft metal. This is a dual purpose set. There are 6 small files suitable for fine work, like jewelry. They are different shapes. The abrasive material of the files is a coating. They are not machined files. It's a very fine abrasive surface.There are 2 saw blades included; 1 metal, 1 wood. These seem an odd choice to couple with the files. The blades are a bit coarse for the materials the file can work with. But they demonstrate the handle's versatility.The handle is comfortable and easy to load. The files use a round stock and the blades use a slot, common with many blades on the market. Both lock in solidly.
