Kit doesn't allow liquid uptake or vacuum to be applied. Kits that do have this feature are similar price or cheaper. Not very pleased with this kit.

So far, we have used this tester on 1988 thru 2016 model cars and pickups. Seems to work well, but time will tell how long it lasts especially the pump.

Some boats and jetskis have some weird designs for the closed loop systems, like the radiator cap is below the highest point of the block, so you can't simply pour antifreeze in and expect it to not overheat.Those engineers may have some interesting extracurricular activities, but I bet every single one of them knows this pressure and vacuum tester kit exists.While the hand pump works great to pressure test, It is designed to be used with a compressed air source for the vacuum function, I did not have one handy out in the middle of the lake, but a hand pump Mityvac and length of hose worked just a treat to get the cooling system filled back up, air pockets removed and boat running for a frustrated customer.Have I mentioned how neat it is to be able to pull a vacuum on your cooling system and then suck antifreeze in so none gets spilled?
