To remove oil from a car engine, simply push the probe down the dipstick hole and pump the handle on the top of the unit.
Set up a permanent fluid transfer while you do something else.
Avoids searching for drain plug keys and getting under the vehicle.
Can also be used for draining fish tanks, basins and sinks.
How To Use
1) Warm up the oil by running the engine-This will allow the contaminates to mix and to suspend in the oil. Remove the dipstick. Note: If you can't hold the dipstick. comfortably in your hands, then the oil is too hot! Wait for the oil to cool off a bit
2) Select and insert the appropriate diameter extraction tube into the dipstick pipe until it touches the bottom of the oil pan. Connect the main tube to the top of the unit and to the extraction tube.
3) Pump the handle 4 to 10 times in a row to start the vacuum. The unit will extract the oil automatically. Continuous pumping is not required.
4) After all the oil has been extracted, press the release valve located at the top of the unit for 5 seconds. Remove the main tube. When pouring the oil into a container, hold the pump and pour gently. Do not hold it upside down ! Bring the used oil to a recycling depot.

Just got this unit and it worked fine. The printed directions that came in the box were a joke. Made no sense and looked like AI translated from Chinese. Throw them away and figure it out.

First off - the three stars is because of the pump lines. Not the actual pump itself.The hose came apart inside of my oil pan and I had to have the oil pan removed to access the line of hose that had come apart because of the crappy connectors. Pump works fine. Be very careful putting lines together

Used on a couple of cars for coolant & oil extraction.- You have to do quite a bit of pumping to keep the vacuum adequate requiring constant supervision- the hoses provided are a bit stiff & too short. In most cases you will have to put 2 of them together- fluid you are extracting is not visible through the hoses- it’s nearly impossible to see the tank fill level. A better design would enable you to see the level & exact volume you extracted.- overall, pretty good value for the money but could be better

If your engine design allows it, using an extractor like this one is the easiest oil change you will ever experience. No removing the splash guard, no getting under the car with tools, just remove the dipstick and suck the oil out. Zero mess and very easy to pour used oil back into the now empty oil containers.

Used it for an oil change on my 2018 S5. Took maybe 15-20 pumps to get some good suction, with the filter housing cracked open. Read the reviews and feared it would take a long time but got all 7.3L out in 40ish minutes. Not bad especially considering I had no idea what I was doing at the start.Hoses are more than long enough. Just connect two of the hoses and make sure they're snug. Also make sure the connection with the cannister is snug and level -- keeps the vacuum maintained. It was actually kind of fun changing the oil. Only needed one pair of gloves!

The plastic hoses as supplied were not long enough to reach the bottom of oil pan. I purchased and replaced the appropriate line with a new longer one. Once connected, vacuum was poor because connection to cannister leaked. Once connections were fixed, it took 2 hours to extract 4.3 liters of oil from a VW beetle and four hours for an 8 liter Mercedes SUV. I guess the unit paid for itself but I wont use it again.

The product worked great! It saves us a lot of money for changing the oil on my Mercedes. We just gave it a few good pumps and it did the rest. We would go do other stuff and check on it every once in a while and give it another pump or so. But super easy to use.

This thing is a life saver, especially if you change a lot of oil.It works just as described, and seems to be built quite well.My only complaint would that the hoses could use to be twice the supplied length.

Great product, hose was a little short so i inserted the thinest one into the thickest One and worked great!! would recommend because it was so easy to use and my dealer would charge me 100 dollars for the oil change on my audi
