I spent far too many days researching cheap Chinese ropes that are "light weight" for a sub 100 ft short, light rope that I could use for emergency rescue on back country split boarding/ backpacking trips... This is not it. This is supposedly a polypropylene core rope. It has a firm"ish" sheath that does feel rugged but the core feels like it's a bunch of silk worms. I would trust this to hold a child's swing or hand over hand descend down a small cliff and use knots but not to run it through rap gear. You can see it compared to my new Blue Ropes 9mm Canyonator that I don't want to cut into a short 30 m rescue rope. It's barely smaller under some light tension on both. Yeah 1mm but still. I've also got it bent, pinched and run through a device/carabiner and you can see how the rope deforms under very light loads. Also the weight is not that big of a savings to make a difference when all things considered. Showing the eyelet ends weighed and unweighed. Let's face it anyone who has any experience is going to cut those off anyway. In an emergency yeah it will work once. Trust it twice. I wouldn't bet my life on it. Should you? It'll be a no from me, especially since I found a clearance deal at a local wholesaler for a 9mm ultra light ultra dry treated 30m rope for $40.Save a life, don't count on these ropes for life safety. Local park, playground, sure. Tarp tie down, trailer load securing yes, you betcha. 5000 ft up the mountain with you and yourself as your backup? Your decision. I know mine. These carabiners belong in the garbage.

I bought this rope for a weekend hiking trip, and it’s shockingly good. It's lightweight but very durable. I used it to secure my tent during a storm and to haul gear up a steep trail. Zero fraying or tangles. For under $20? This rope is such great value! My buddy kept side-eyeing it like, “You actually bought that?” until he saw it in action. Now he’s asking me for the link. 😂highly recommended for anyone who appreciates functional gear without the high cost!

This is an awesome rope. You can tell it has a high tinsel strength and is very tough. I love the addition of the carabiners and eyes. This is an awesome rope to have on hand for arborist or even camping. It extremely versatile and functions perfectly. The color is perfect and so is the length. For the money it's a great buy.

This is great to keep in the trunk of my car as part of my emergency kit. You never know what would come in as an emergency.
