These seem to be of high quality and good weight for arranging individual or smaller stems for your flower arrangement orikebana. You get eight of them individually wrapped in a small box. When I received these I was instantly brought back to my youth and watching my mother taking tropical cuttings from the yard or sometimes delivered by a friend and her carefully placing them using her set of ikebana frogs. This set is perfect for smaller flowers or plant stems to either use alone as an small arrangement or along side other frogs for a larger arrangement.The weigh plus the rubber gasket helps keep them under water and the spines on this little mountain of swords, keeps the stems in place.Recommended.

As others have said- these are tiny but mighty! So much heavier than you'd expect- oh and the plastic/ rubber base looks nicer in person (not that it'll be visible in your vessel).I've never used flower frogs before so these have been a lot of fun to play with. I tried to arrange some dried sticks, thinking they would wedge between the nails, but no- those nails are SOLID. No bending there! Which probably means these will last a lifetime.The tiny size creates the possibility of arranging the frogs to cover surface areas in more abstract ways- lots of fun to be had with these!

These flower frogs are better than expected! If you're looking for a reusable flower frog to help you design a flower arrangement, check these out. It feels sturdy and heavy enough for a small size frog. I weighed it in at 69 grams which should work well for most small designs. Obviously, it's always recommended to sick some waterproof sticky under the frog to temporarily adhere to the compote or vessel of choice. This frog has a metal section a the bottom to nicely adhere the additional sticky putty. The pokes are sharp and there are a good about just as you would expect.

My wife says: As a hobby potter I like to make Ikebana vases. These baby flower frogs are just what I need and are well described in the listing and pictures. The measurements given are approximate. Mine were a little heavier (67g) and a little bit bigger in diameter (1.4"). (Only a little bigger than listed but it makes a difference when you are sizing the vases.) They were about 3/4"tall. They are nicely made and sturdy. I would order them again.

Excellent quality, very neat and well-made. Perfect for small arrangements, they hold stems securely and don’t scratch the containers. A great set, very happy with this purchase!

I'm new to Ikebana but have always loved the art form of these Japanese flower arrangements. These seems very high quality - they have a lot of weight to them, they are well made of good materials, and the prongs are appropriately sharp to effectively hold the flowers in place. The eight pieces are small, which makes them extra functional, as you could use them for eight individual smaller arrangements or use multiples for larger arrangements. Recommend these!!

tiny ikebana frogs - but well made and work well! I had some flowers leftover from a larger arrangement so i clipped them and stuck them into the ikebana frog holder and put it into a small bowl. I also took a picture of the bowl from the top so you can see the tiny frog - and put my apple watch charger next to it. The frog is about the same diameter as my watch charger. They come in a nice storage box and are surprisingly heavy for their small size. I've been reading books about Japan and ikebana lately so these will be fun to experiment with! For a bigger arrangement, i plan to use two or three frogs in a larger bowl. Note that the prongs are very sharp - but thin enough that i was able to get these relatively thin stems to hold up. Very happy with these ikebana frogs!
