Ordered these for my husband to drill a few things into our brick home from the outside. I’m not a tool person, but he lit up when these arrived, and raved about the quality and different sizes. He also liked they were self lubricating and came with a case that kept everything organized. We finished our projects outside without incident, and next time we need these type of drill bits will be happy to use this set. He says they’re a great price for the quality and easy to use.

I’ve had these for just over a month and I’ve used them on 2 different projects: installing an exterior duct cover for my new range hood and repairing/replacing mortar on our flagstone front walkway and backyard pool deck. These projects might seem to be odd uses of these Core Drill Bits, but bear with me. Our previous range hood wasn’t ducted to the outside, our outside wall is soft brick, and the new ductwork is 6”. My drill punched me in the face when I was using a 6” wood hole saw, so no way was I going to be able to manhandle a 6” masonry hole saw. I did get a 2.5” masonry hole saw and even that made my arms feel like they’d be slugged repeatedly the next day. I used that to drill 3 holes in a triangle shape and then used these bits to round out the triangle to a 6” circle I needed. They worked very well and I didn’t need to do much work with the chisel to finish out.Our flagstone path, patio and pool deck were laid at least 30 years ago, and while everything is still very sturdy and level, the surface mortar is definitely showing its age and the impact of exposure. Since flagstones are all different shapes and sizes, the “grout lines” are not parallel or even, and there are some areas that I can’t get into with my diamond blade installed on my angle grinder. I use the bit that is slightly smaller than the “grout line” and it bites into the mortar easily. Then a little hammer and chisel work to tap out the little towers plus the mortar along the stone and I avoid leaving a cut mark on the flagstone. Note that I’m doing mortar repair, not resetting the flagstones, so I’m interested in getting most of the mortar out and then I brush in concrete adhesive before I tip in new mortar. These have worked like a dream for both projects. They’ve been reasonably durable, but I do keep the area wet to extend the diamond surfacing. Once these are used up, I’ll buy more as they have performed better than other diamond drill bits I’ve tested and used.My NICAVKIT 8pc Diamond Core Drill Bits help me with my workarounds for my DIY projects because sometimes the “right” tool either isn’t available or isn’t something I can control. This is a nice set of bits that work well. They came in a nice case, better than a lot of bit sets I've received. It's good though, because you can keep them all together. Unless you work in a trade, you likely won't need these often - I won't - but at least you'll be able to find them. It's nice that they included an adapter as well so that you can use these in a drill or a drill press. The adapter will naturally work with anything else as well, so that's good to have on hand. You can never have too many tool adapters. The bits are heavy, cut well and are finished nicely. I never heard of this brand before, but the bits are good, and that's what's most important.

These NICAVKIT 8Pcs Diamond Core Drill Bits with Adapter, Vacuum Brazed Diamond Hole Saws- are very good quality diamond coring bits and the Brazing method of securing the little diamonds holds them on tight. I always keep a squirt bottle of water handy and give a series of quick shots while drilling to keep the bits cool and the diamonds will stay on a lot longer. I got this excellent set for drilling Nephrite Jade and making jewelry items with the pieces and this kit is perfect for this purpose and has no problems drilling Jade with virtually no signs of wear on the bits. Totally excellent kit of various sizes and a strong- organizing case that is also good quality that allows for transporting or storing everything safely. High quality bit set and a Great find!

I ordered this kit of bits for our bathroom remodel, DIY so I'll need some bits for drilling the tile.This is a nice looking kit.The bits are a good variety of sizes.They feel solid and durable.I drilled one test hole in an old piece of ceramic tile, it worked perfectly. I cant see any deformation to the tip of the bit, so at the very least its not a use-once-and-dispose bit.The kit came in a case that was surprisingly well made (I really appreciate that!), with real foam to hold the bits in place (not fall apart junk foam). Yes the case is plastic, but noticeably better than the usual junky plastic cases.So far I'm happy with my order.

Great assortment to have and includes a large variety of sizes. Going to use to drill my countertop for water faucet sure it will work fine for that purpose. The threaded attachment system is different than what I've seen / used curious if there's a little more run out in the bits because of it.

Has a self lubricating system that keeps pushing wax into the cut so you can use it wet or dry unlike many of these that can only be used with constant wet cooling. This feature itself should keep the tool lasting long since the wax will help with any sort of mistakes or forgetting to keep the cut cool.Overall a useful and nice set, I'd say the only big downside is each bit needs a drill adapter to work, so if you misplace that you will have some trouble using these without it.
