This perch set is great, and I wish I had found it sooner. I have 2 parakeets and even though they have a large cage, the perches I've found and bought so far are all large and not fully natural. I'm sure everyone has seen the 3x5 plywood-ish perches that are technically wood but covered in a neon pink/blue/green sandpaper material -- this set is not like that, this set is all natural wood. These perches are all also from some sort of hard wood tree, which will hold up much better than the plywoodish perches that quickly fall apart!Many of my other perches 'unscrew' where the mounting screw isn't quite fully set, and is one more thing to worry about when mounting. I'm happy to report that not a single one of the screws on this set was loose or became loose when installing them. YAY!I saw another reviewer wish that these were longer (8-10"), but I disagree and feel that the ~6 inch perches here are perfect and exactly what I wanted and expected. The round perches I received are about 2.5 inches, which I like. I have used several of the large 3x5ish perches and they take up a bit too much space. These smaller perches are a nice addition to our enclosure without taking up too much room and dominating the space.The only issue someone should know is that the description is incorrect, there is no hammock swing. Since I wanted a smaller perch set, it was no problem and I used the photos in the ad as a reference. The photos are accurate with the rest of the items: round, straight, and multi branch perches are what you see and what you get! 3 straight stubby perches, 3 multi-branch perches, and 2 round stands. I'm not using all of them in the main enclosure and now I have extra for our smaller 'traveling' enclosure, too!

The perches are fine, if not a bit small. They serve as perches, the hardware is adequate, and they seem to be made of a hard enough wood that they will not immediately fall apart the second a bird chews on them.However...The recommended use cases are insane. These are not anything close to being suitable for macaws, and the photos they show of a macaw standing on a perch do not in any way indicate the scale of these perches. They are far smaller than some of the pictures would indicate, and the actual length of them is not noted anywhere in the description.This has become a common issue with items like this which are made by someone who has never seen a bird outside of a book. Paying a bird owner $20 for an hour of their time to provide consultation would have resulted in a better product and description.The product isn't bad, and the price is competitive for what you get. It's just a shame that the company felt they had to be misleading in their documentation.

As long as you ignore the ridiculous photos in the product description and check the actual measurements, you will like this set of perches and platforms. They are definitely made for small to medium birds, think parakeets to conures, but not for macaws. Neither the size would work, nor would they last more than a few seconds with a bigger, destructive bird. The build quality is good, with well dried and sanded wood, no signs of mold and good quality hardware. I placed them in cages with parakeets, cockatiels and conures and they looks good and work well. The different sizes and surface textures are good for healthy feet and keep the birds entertained. The set is good value for the money, given how many you get. In the chain pet stores you will only get two or three perches for this price. The product itself is five stars, but I am deducting a star for the poor presentation.

I have a Quaker that destroys his perches and toys on the regular. These perches offer a great variety of choices at a GREAT price point. The screws were embedded evenly and secured smoothly - no rough edges or misthreads. The branches aren't thin - very sturdy.The length is perfect to mix and match. His cage is 30x24x54, so we have plenty of room to make a jungle gym for him. He loves being able to jump around, being as nosy as possible, climbing in and out of his cage - these have been perfect!No bugs, no weird smells.

These perches are solid and natural—perfect for birds that like to chew wood. The hardware is secure and nothing came loose during setup. The size works well for small to medium birds without crowding the cage. The wood feels untreated and safe, which matters for pet health. Setup was easy, and the pieces add good variety and texture for birds’ feet. They hold up well and don’t fall apart quickly. The only downside is they’re too small for large birds like macaws, so check your bird’s size before buying. Overall, a good value if you want natural, sturdy perches that last.

These perches work pretty well for my conures. My sun conure absolutely loves the wooden disks for chewing, and the rest of the branches make for good perches. As with most perches, my birds chewed these up pretty fast, but they were still worth the money. If your bird is not a wood chewed like mine, these will probably last a while. They are secure and the wood doesn't seperate from the screws like some other perches I've used. They were mold and insect free (which is not something I thought I'd have to say, but it happens more than I expected!). Given the fair price and level of enjoyment my birds got, I will probably buy these again when they are all gone.

I am so happy with this product. They are super sturdy and super neat and fun for my baby! I had to throw away all the long stick perches that I had. These are perfect! Even one to sit outside the cage is awesome. I’m gonna come back for more items for my baby!
