There are no pre-drilled installation holes. There were no wood plugs in the package. There was only one wood screw in the way of hardware. In addition, this wood is so lightweight that I cannot believe it would be good for anything except a very small shelf. I am disappointed to say the least. I gave it a 2-rating simply because the workmanship of the bracket seems to be pretty good, though I will struggle to find any kind of use for this item at all..

As is common on Amazon, the pictured product is NOT what I received. There were no holes predrilled at each corner or any mounting screws or wood caps. Instead there was just one screw/hook set for wall mounting, which is NOT how I intend to use this corbel. And, the wood edges were also plainly rounded rather than having the nicer finished look in the photo. Very disappointing. I may return this and look for something more suitable.

I used these corbels to support a new breakfast bar. Very sturdy and well made. Modern styling, too. I highly recommend these.
