Ideal size for grain mashing in small containers such as a picnic cooler, plastic bucket or stock pot with an inside diameter greater than 9in. It is perforated with 3/32in holes size spaced 5/32in apart on center for consistently even filtration.

I've gotten 2 of these now... a 12" and now the 9" for the 5 gal Rubbermaid; for my experimental batches. Love em both! Price is exceptional and they are not cheaply made either. I've done numerous batches and never had a stuck mash with them.
