It's a little hard to open up and use, but it does hold in place.

Good for square forms, picture frames etc . Not the strongest out there, but work.

Very easy to use. It's good for the DIY tasks. Not a great fit for professional needs anyway. I have used it to build my aquarium stand and it was very helpful in avoiding the requirement of an extra hand

I ordered these little clamps thinking you can't go too far wrong at about $2.50 per clamp. When I first opened the bag, I thought I was wrong - there was a gap on one side of each clamp, which concerned me. After a few minutes of futzing around with them, I realized the center corner block is able to slide side to side, so it properly centers itself when clamping boards of different thicknesses. A feature I did not expect to see on such an inexpensive clamp. These are small clamps, but have a pretty strong grip. The outer jaws have a removable rubber pad over them to improve that grip and prevent marring the surface. They hold pretty well, but I wouldn't depend on them to hold the corner perfectly square - check the squareness before you drive a screw or nail in. They make assembling boxes (and maybe cabinets) quick and will get a lot of use in my little woodshop.

These are sturdy little corner clamps to aid in dry fitting and assembly of boxes, cabinets, etc. While they have pretty strong springs, I wouldn't rely on them as a clamping device on their own for glue-ups. If you're pinning or screwing your pieces together, they're fine, but you'll want to use real clamps for glue-ups, after using these for basic alignment and assembly. You'll also want to check for square after assembly and before pinning, screwing, or clamping with glue, as longer boards especially will have the leverage to go out of square, since these are spring-action and do not lock. Their relatively low profile means you can use them in tighter spaces than many other square clamping jigs. They are especially convenient for dry fitting and mock-up, where quick assembly and disassembly is necessary. Overall, these will be a useful addition to your shop if you make any kind of box, cabinet, or other project with right angled sides.
