Looks like it’ll work good…little cheap and Chinese feeling, with pretty small handles…but it’ll do the job. The color though! I’m so sad. I strictly buy dewalt, and I’m about to set up an entire shop and I’d love everything to match perfectly. This sticks out like a sore thumb.

We really liked these clamps as we were able to build a book case and a mantel. Unfortunately, I guess we overtightened them and that caused these riveted pieces to pop off. We were able to get them back on and hammer them into place, but a minor inconvenience.

I bought two of these clamps based on the reviews. My only thought, these people where bought off by DEWALT. The key problem with this clamp, it will lift or push the stalk so it's not 90 degrees. I was framing two square metal pieces. I noticed that my material was lifting ever so slightly, enough to throw off the frame. The only way to solve this problem was to back off the tension on the clamp. This caused my pieces to move making the clamp worthless. You know the old saying YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR.

I think design wise it is going to be great. But it arrived with the paint already chipped. The washer that provides the alignment strength is undersized and does not lay flat. I'm keeping it because I'm making simple things, it's metal, it's the design style i want to try and it's a great price. And I'll be storing mine inside, so i won't have to worry about the paint chipping causing a problem. (I'll update my review after i use it if it's a huge disappointment or if it's amazing... No update means it did is job as expected)
