Overall quality is good. Would be nice if harness was just a bit longer on the passenger side wiring and battery wiring to allow better placement of relay. On 2007 Outlander, beware than the base model (without fog lights) uses the low beams as daylight running lights (DRL). The voltage to these is reduced (11.5v range) when the light switch is off. When the light switch is turned on, voltage is normal (almost 14v). 11.5v is enough to trigger the relay - but not enough for it to work right... so the headlights flicker as DRLs and relay makes a buzzing sound. Not good.I my case I had switched to LED headlights and really wanted the DRL feature off. This harness was just a means to get there in a roundabout way. Here is what I did...The harness I got had two connectors that go the existing headlight circuit (9006 style plugs). These are used to trigger the relay. Really only 1 is needed to trigger the relay. Having two just means no abandoned plugs... which is a nice feature of this harness (also provides redundancy... another perk). Anyhow, I abandoned the trigger on the passenger side (taped it and the original plug off to be safe). On the drivers side I cut off the plug and spliced the wires into the side marker lamp wiring (the uppermost lamp that only comes on when the lights are switched on). This allowed me to get a full 14v signal from the side market lamp as the trigger for the relay. Everything else wires normally... outputs of relay to headlights (9006 style plugs), grounds to chassis, and power to battery. Now, my DRLs are bypassed and headlights work perfectly when switched on. If I ever want to switch back to factory I can just plug the headlights back into the original factory plugs and just leave the harness in place.

I installed this kit on my 2006 PT Cruiser so I could use LED headlight bulbs. It had a problem with the TIPM that has permanently rendered the right headlight circuit useless as well. I was actually planning to run the kit off of a switch mounted on the dashboard, but low and behold, this kit somehow is CANBUS friendly and it works without causing the CANBUS to go crazy and flicker or shut off the circuit. This is AMAZING because almost nothing plays well with Chrysler's CANBUS system. What a lifesaver!

I used this kit for installing the Innovited 55watt hid kit on my Chrysler 200. I did have to extend the wiring a bit. pickup some 18gauge or lower wire and its easy to do. I replaced the relay before installing after reading reviews on people having failures with the relay and with the price of this kit you cant ask for everything. I also added electrical grease to the relay connector and headlamp connectors, and fuse most are not sealed very well. for less then $10 I am happy so far.

Bought this after tons of reading, and overall it's alright. The wires are a descent gauge but when things like this are made in China you can't expect much more than garbage. I got it installed and the wires really are shorter on one side compared to the other. It really makes it difficult to use. Instead of cutting and splicing the harness like others have done, I scrapped the entire HID install completely and bought some good Sylvania Silver Star halogen bulbs. It's not worth the headache for what you have to go through to have lights that blind everyone on the road! Harness was a complete waste of money...

I have not used it yet but I already will have to alter it. I bought this for foglights, it might be fine for headlights but not for fogs because of the body ground. First of all, the setup has two chassis (body) ground on each side, would prefer one ground which connected both sides. Second the ground wire is short, who want to ground an electrical item close to the bottom of their car? Pretty sure it will stop working soon after.I plan to extend the ground wires and link together to make one. Should be fine after that, however it cost me to buy additional wire and electrical tape.UpdateAfter a 3 years of use, my biggest concern is that it seems to drain my battery. If i park my car for a 5-7 days (3-4 in winter), when i return i have to jumpstart. If i do the same with my wifes car it starts right up. I didnt think it was this at first but after i changed my battery to one identical to my wife I because suspicious. Took my car to get the new battery tested and it found to be fine only needs to be recharged. The rep however said based on my explanations, it sounds like i have a parasitic current draw and I should check any eletrical work I did.....This was the only thing so I removed and now my battery keeps its charge much much longer. If you drive your car everyday it is not an issue though, just be aware it seems to have a parasitic draw after you turn off your car.

This relay harness appears to be well made, the terminals and connections feel solid, and it does the job perfectly. It's only a couple of wires and connectors, so not much to go wrong. However, compatibility can be an issue if your vehicle's battery isn't located at the front of the engine bay near one of the headlamps(doesn't matter which). The length was sufficient with a bit of extra slack for my Chevy Impala, but it might be a little short for some larger trucks and SUV's, depending on how it's routed through the engine bay. Just make sure your headlamps and ballasts can connect to 9006 connectors, and you'll have no problems.
